Since most vehicles are metal clad, they resist penetration of signal and make communication using radio frequency devices unreliable. Resorting to direct connect devices (antennas located on the roof of the vehicle) prove to be problematic as usually several people require
a connection.
CellAntenna’s CAE-700-CV series is the answer to your requirements for proper communication. Using Bi-directional Amplifiers and Radiating Cables together with CellAntenna’s CAF825 Omni Directional Low Profile antenna, we can light up the interior of the command vehicle so cellular communication and public safety can take place as if the officer was standing outside the vehicle. Placing the CAF825 outdoor antenna on a telescoping mast, the antenna can be raised to pick up the best possible signal free of interfering ground clutter.
The CAE-700-CV is configurable in several models depending on your communication requirements. With optional external ports at the side of the vehicle and up to 200 feet of LMR600 cabling, you can extend the coverage of the cellular signal deep inside a building or to a completely separate location. Add a side panel to the same external port and you have a directional signal, perpendicular to the vehicle.
The system can be self installed through clear instructions that are supplied or we can supply our services. The CAE700-CV runs off of the 110-240 V AC or can be used at 12 Volts.
CAE-700-CV-819PS - Cellular or Public Safety/Nextel ( switched) + PCS. Comes with both Cellular and SMR as well as PCS. However, due to frequency overlap only one of Cellualar or SMR can be used at the same time, PCS can be used fulltime.
